A dream comes true: with e-bikes in Tuscany ☺️
The rolling hills beneath our wheels. Olive trees whisper in the wind. The wonderful taste of herbs in the air.
And just like that, it begins: more than just a journey! It's like being in the realm of dreams ☺️
The food, homemade pasta, tons of culture, art from all eras, and a good glass of wine in the evening.
A new day, new experiences, every evening a culinary delight full of comfort and conviviality. A journey of unforgettable moments – vibrant, enjoyable, and unforgettable.
The first day of our tour brings the rolling hills of the Chianti region to us 🥰. It brings us from Florenz to the Chianti Region, Greve in Chianti, Macelleria Falorni, Lamole und Radda in Chianti.
On your second riding day we leave beautiful Castellina in Chianti to go to San Gimignano the so called Manhattan from Tuscany. In 1300 nobel Family´s competed amongst each other by building high Towers. There were 69 Towers at the peak time. Now 9 are left and they make San Gimignano a real eye catcher.
In the morning we had a beautiful ride down the Tuscany hills. In the afternoon instead we where again hitting the pedals through the rolling hills of Tuscany.
From the Manhattan of Tuscany to New York of Tuscany ☺️
Through the hilly landscape on the old Frankenweg to Siena.
Topic of the day: Via Francigena - the old pilgrim road.
Highlight of the day: Monteriggioni, Siena
Even though the weather didn't show its full sunshine, it was a very nice day.
From Siena to Pienza. Continue on the Via Francigena and L'Eroica to Brunello and Thermal spa area of southern Tuscany. To the south, Murlo and the hidden Etruscan treasure, Montalcino and Brunello, Bagno Vignoni and Pienza are the places we pass.
It is an incredibly beautiful landscape south of Pienza. On small roads we go to Bagni San Filippo to the natural pools and along the Val d'Orcia to Città della Pieve. We bathe in warm, white water like the ancient Etruscans 🤣
Monte Rufeno Nature Reserve and the Etruscan city of Orvieto. These are the topics for our last day of riding.
We say goodbye with a few tears...
But the next route is already planned 😉
